This past Sunday, our church was conducting an outside worship service (away from any wifi signals). We had my iPhone XR as a hot spot, connected to my laptop via USB cable. About 35 minutes in, the hot spot just quit working. I don't know if there was a "hiccup" with the local cell tower, or if there was something happening with my phone.
Does anyone know if there is anything on the iPhone (iOS 14.4) that would cause a time-out/shut down, etc? At this point, the only thing I know to do is to tell the stream director to unplug the phone, then plug it back in to reset the connection.
Any other ideas on what is going on, and more importantly, what I can do the next time we go outside?
