To simply put this is what happened after I updated the iOS to 12.1.1 - which iTunes can still backup and sync on USB connection, I can't find it on My Computer, this is important because I got a lot of photos that I want to unload from iPhone to PC.
All PC drivers and iTunes are of latest version as of now.
Because I've checked all known troubleshooting measures out there - besides my home PC, I went as far as using another 2 office desktops today, one Win10 and one Win7, the latter I never connected with my phone before.
In all cases, I can't find "Apple iPhone" under "Mobile Devices", but "MTP USB Device". Can't updade driver on that one.
Weird thing is, my iPad Pro (the previous generation, not the current generation) can talk with my PC, same Lightning cable and same USB3 port, also iOS12.1.1.
So...I sort of hope it's just me, but has that happen to anyone here as well?
