Hello, I attempted to replace my gf Xr screen with my old Xr screen. I upgraded to the 14 although I kept my Xr, I figured I have a screen I can use for the phone. I replaced the screen then phone turns on but the touch does not function. I noticed if I tap on the screen once to wake it does respond besides that I can’t even unlock the phone because the touch doesn’t respond.

Yes it could be I damaged the screen? Although I tested it with the replacement and old screen.

I really doubt it affected it, when I was disconnecting the battery I accidentally disconnected the motherboard connection I quickly realized and reconnected. I get no bootlooping or other issues besides the touch. Both connecters seem fine.

Any tips on what it could be.
Very disorganized writing, it is 1am.

I just got it on an ipad pro m1.
This problem only occurs from ios 16, ipados 16. I sent to apple and no response.
It just freezes once a day or more often in response to touching the lock screen.
And you have to do a hard reset with the buttons.
I suggest you send feedback to apple and wait.
The more people you send, the better.
Because this problem has been present since June 2022.
