Today for instance I’ve been doing a lot of chores and errands on my day off. So, I’ve barely used my phone. It’s already at 50% and as I finished writing this it’s at 49%. Battery health is at 100%.

Does esim on the XS make the battery deplete faster than normal? Didn’t have this issue when I had a physical sim.

I have noticed the same thing. I installed the esim in my XS with a second VZ number just to try it out. It increased my battery drain by about 50%. I start the day with a full charge, and usually end with low to mid 8x%. With esim, it is low to mid 7x%. Since I didn't really need the second number, I had it removed, and am now back to the normal battery usage.

Is this drain with you having 2 numbers (1 physical sim and 1 esim) or with just 1 number on an esim? I'm curious as I wanted to switch out my physical sim for an esim. I would only have 1 number on my phone

One nano sim and one esim. That's the only way to have two numbers active at the same time. You can store multiple numbers on the esim, but can only use one of them at a time.
