I joke that my phone is a music player that can also make calls. I’m just curious if anyone else noticed an improved sound using Bluetooth. I’m coming from an 8+ and the sound seems louder, brighter and more spacious (with the same BT headphones of course).
To the best of my knowledge I understand that BT sound is really about the headphones and codex used so this surprised me. The only change I’m aware of is the upgrade to BT 5.0 from 4.2. That isn’t supposed to affect sound quality (especially with the headphones at 4.2 or something). I doubt Apple is using AptX now so I don’t see why it would be different.
So any observations or explanations would be appreciated. Probably all in my head but why fight it.
