iPhone X Iphone Xs camera sensor

For anyone that knows a bit about photography, I've seen that the camera on the iPhone Xs has pixel size of 1.4µm at 12 mp, does this mean the camera sensor would be bigger, like Maybe the 1/2.5" size of the note 8/9?

I’m super curious to learn about the camera. They barely even said the hardware is better. They did say better sensor, bigger pixels but basically just in passing and didn’t really praise the hardware at all. I was super stoked for a huge improvement in low light as I’ve heard people complain about that, but they didn’t say too much about that.

I’d like I’ve to hear someone smart tell me what specific hardware improvements they made and how much improvement that is. I know the software **** is gonna be a big deal

I think it’s 1/2.5 on the Xs and the X had a 1/3.
