I thought maybe they’d use it on the Max to give it a feature the Xs doesn’t have but, I’m sure that will be he the trend in the industry and all flagships will have it

It should happen for 2019 when design gets changed/modified since it won’t be an ‘S’ year

They upgraded the sensor size, which was long overdue.

Apple won’t use three cameras next year, so there might be some other change.
