Other iPhone XS Gold: will the color chip off like the space gray did?

I just pre-ordered a new iPhone XS in gold and when I told my friend about it he sent me a picture of someone's space gray X with the paint flaking off.

Was that a common occurrence with the iPhone X or just an isolated case? Is it possible the gold will come off just as easily?

Isolated. I have an X and don’t have any issues with flaking.

No issue for my Space Grey X so I would imagine it won't be for the Gold.

I know someone with a SG who is clumsy with it, no issues when it comes to that.
