I notice there are 2 options when purchasing a carrier specific model.

1) Pay monthly

2) Pay full price

I understand that if you pay the full price, that the phone will come with that carrier's sim and be unlocked, and that if you pay monthly it'll be remain locked until it's been fully paid off.

But if we choose to pay monthly, how will that work? For example I have AT&T, Does that mean they will charge me the additional $56 or whatever the amount is every month on my statement?
 
Tap the link for more options and you can finance through Apple for the same monthly price as through the carriers and your phone will not be locked. That’s what I’m planning to do.

But, if you do end up financing through ATT, yes, the monthly installments will just be added to your bill.
