I guess I spend way to much time looking for cases and screen protectors and now I am excessively cautious about my new XS…

I am considering to buy a lens protector for the rear camera to protect it even more… (I already ordered a Spigen neo Hybrid which hopefully will fit my XS )

But I don’t know if this is really a smart idea to apply anything on the camera…I fear that it might affect image quality… (the description says it shouldn't though..)

If I buy one I’ll probably get one from spigen ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/Spigen-iPhone-Camera-Protector-057GL23344/dp/B079ZSNPVR )

What are your opinions? good idea? or am I just overcautious? any experiences ?

Thanks

Overcautious. This is the first time I've heard of anyone wanting to cover their iPhone lens with protection.

Lol I was also thinking about getting those. Anyone have any other recommendations for camera lens protectors?

Also, for those who have used lens protectors before, did you notice any loss in image quality?

hm, looks no one has experience.. well I guess not that many crazy overcautious people here... ;)
I think I'll just give it a shot. Better safe than sorry... if I don't like it, I can always take it off...

This is interesting. I'll wait until they have updated for any size difference in Xs.

Not needed, I’ve never had any on any of my iPhone and my lens have never been scratched. Ever.

I agree. Screen protectors are super useful but you can skip on the lens protector. Not needed.
