I've had my iPhone XS Max since Friday, September 21st and I keep it on vibrate almost 100% of the time. It has worked normally for the whole week. This morning, it began "beeping" or "chirping" whenever the phone would vibrate. The sound reminds me of the post beep a computer makes, but higher pitched.

I have made no changes to the settings or notifications. The beep is directly tied to the vibration...it beeps when I flip the mute switch over to silent, it beeps when I get any notification that triggers the vibrate. If I turn off "vibrate on silent" then it no longer beeps...but of course, then I lose the vibrate function.

Anyone else had this experience? I'm hoping for a fix other than "return it" since it appears that stock is limited on the XS Max but I rely on that vibration functionality pretty heavily.

Edited to add: A hard restart has fixed it for now...but I'd still like to hear from anyone that has experienced it before. If it's going to randomly happen again the future, I might be better served to exchange it anyway.
