I was so excited about the announcement last week. I currently have the iPhone XS Max and I don't see a compelling reason to upgrade. Am I missing something? Yes, the 5G would be nice along with image stabilization, but I'm sadly disappointed.

Keep it one more year then simple!
Don't be influenced by those who upgrade every single year (which does not make any sense nowadays but that's another topic haha)
If you don't care about the little improvement (it's mainly on the camera and form factor), just wait an extra year

Agree... You don't notice much of an upgrade after 1-2 years. I recently jumped from 6s to 11, that was quite an upgrade!
