Our family got 3 Xs. Two Xs max and one Xs. One of our screens (an Xs max) shows noticeably less contrast. I’m past the return period but is this something I can go to the Genius Bar for?

Of course you can. If your not happy with the device, go in and show them the issue.

Yes, but just don’t expect a new device if they decide to replace it. If they decide to replace the device, it could be a refurbished device that may look new. But either way, that is what warranties are for.

Was this not a 'problem' before the return period was over? Why did you wait? Did it only become a perceived problem after comparing it with other phones?

Of course it was a problem and I thought it was a problem but I didn’t compare with the other phones until recently.

Why didn’t you return it immediately when you first thought it is a problem? Would have saved you at least some trouble.
