I just bought a smart case for my iPhone XS. I did some reading and mainly bought the case to always use the battery from the case so technically I’ll never use my iPhone battery and this way my device can have a 100% battery capacity. But it seems that the car is just constantly charging my iPhone so idk how that will affect battery life. Any have some feedback on this. Is my theory correct or will I damage my battery? Thanks!

The  battery case works with your battery as an extension of that battery. I’ve had mine since it came out and my battery health has not gone down at all. Just my 2 cents. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I stopped using the case within the first month, absolutely crushed my overall battery health by 5%. Figured because of betas that might change but in fact it didn't so I stopped using it all together. Since then my battery health hasn't dropped 1%.
