iphone yahoo junk mail

is there a way to directly move mail to your junk email folder on the iphone? it seems to be grayed out for some reason.

My guess is that it is not possible. You could create a new junk mail folder and move the messages there. Even the Yahoo web mail doesn't let you "move" messages to the junk mail folder, but does let you press the spam button to identify the message as spam and move it to the junk mail folder. My guess is the iPhone doesn't have this functionality to identify a message as spam to the email server.

I have Yahoo! set to deliver junk to the Junk folder for me so nothing arrives in my inbox (with the exception of every month or so one slips through). As an alternative you delete them instead of trying to move to Junk.
