Iphone yahoo mail says I have 1 mail but I dont?!?!?!

It says I have 1 mail by having the number 1 in red beside the MAIL icon. I go in and check my inbox and trash mail and nope, no mail.

I go to the yahoo mail on my PC and nope I don't have mail.

So I switch off my Iphone and turn it on again and its still there.

WTF?

Did you delete one recently?

It's a recent bug that I am sure will get fixed. Happens to me, too - the number disappears eventually.

This happened to me on 1.1.4 actually. Only way I was able to fix it was to delete the account from the phone and then add it again.

go into the accounts page in mail and press and hold the home screen button for about 6 seconds...when you let go of the button the screen will take a second, but will put you back to the home screen. go back in mail and recheck the new messages, the notification will then go away. at least it did for me.
