It happened again.

Exchange rate September 2016: 1 EUR= 1.12 USD
Exchange rate September 2017: 1 EUR = 1.20 USD
Price iPhone 7 at launch: €769 ($861)
Price iPhone 8 at launch: €809 ($971)

Almost every year, Apple increases the price for new iPhones in Europe. They now did it again, even though the exchange rate increased in favor of our currency.

Why does Apple hate Europe so much?

Well that somewhat makes up for it, still the iPhone is $100 more expensive in Europe when accounting for sales tax.
