iPhone Yellow spot

After 18 months a yellow spot appeared on the top right of the iphone 4s screen.

It looks like this:

No guarantee. Is there any way to fix it?

either half dead pixels (no fix) or simply dirty screen (hard clean).

I have tried to clean it. seems like it's not dirt or something.

Should I keep it like that until I buy another iphone. Is it worth to fix it or it will cost a lot?
