Hello,

I just got a replacement phone today for an issue I was having with reception on my iPhone 4. I then compared my phone to my sisters on full brightness, and noticed that my phone's screen is extremely yellow. Do I have a right to a replacement? Will Apple claim it's within manufacturing tolerances? Will they give me a refurbished phone or will they just try to replace the glass? Any tips greatly appreciated.

if you just got the replacement unit today, give it a day or two (its a known issue, but if it doesn't go away, then yes, you could ask for another replacement unit)

iPhone 4's yellow spot issue goes away with a bit of time?

It's not the "spot issue": the entire screen has a horrible yellow tint! I would replace it, I wouldn't tolerate such a thing!

P. S. What are the first five digits of the serial number on the yellow phone?

you wouldn't tolerate it for just 1 day to see if it would go away on its own (saving you the hassles of replacing the phone, again)

give it a week or so. this is a common issue, must have to do with the screen glue or the white Led yellow filters "warming up"

Give me a break. Its always amazing the stuff people will come up with to defend apple.

Op you have a defective screen. It will not go away. Get it replaced.
