Iphone11 Bluetooth connection to the car.

Hi. The iPhone Bluetooth pairing to the car for mobile phone use has deteriorated substantially since moving from the iPhone 6S to the iPhone 11. Now, the calls are hard to understand and when I call, I’m told I sound like I am underwater and in many cases the calls are terminated due to difficulty in hearing the conversation. Am I the only one?
