I have Always On, on. Despite its description of the feature being very confusing. “With it on it will turn it off??”

Anyway….

When my phone is sideways and charging, and in Stand By mode, the screen turns off. Why? I have “detect motion” to wake it again, but I thought the point for always on phones that it would be, ALWAYS ON. ??

UPDATE
IF you have night mode on. Go in to its settings. Turn OFF the motion sense. The description needs to be more clear. Having this on means it will turn off the display but then turn on when it senses motion. Turning this feature off, allows the display to always stay on. The description for this feature should add “this will cause display to turn off until motion is detected.”
