Well its not much of a surprise that T-Mobile would blab though considering how their is still no US iPhone it leads one to wonder.

That and the fact that this phone is supposedly going to use UMTS.

So lets get this straight.

The first 3g iPhone will be in Germany no longer use GSM and not come out in the US.

That and it has significantly longer batterylife even though it uses a more batter intensive modem.

Sounds fishy.
 
I wonder how reliable that source is. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out at the same time in Europe and the US though.

If it has gps I will be ebaying my phone on release day and be in line if I can get off work =)
