Two days of reading and looking at videos. Made sure I had all the files, the right programs, read the blogs, and figured out what I thought was best. Six hours of sitting in front of the computer, and I'm ready to tear my hair out!

Have an iPod 3G. It was running iOS 4.2.1 with firmware 5.15.04.

Research told me this phone will never get unlocked with that firmware short of going back to Canada for the unlock code (I'm in Portugal right now).

Used redsn0w Win 0.9.6rc16 to jailbreak, with the option to up the firmware to 6.15. So far so good. Wi-fi works and everything's looking good so far
Downloaded ultrasn0w. Restarted the iPhone. Stuck in my sim card. "Locked SIM"...

I've wiped the iPhone with a clean ipsw and redone my steps from the beginning, but with the same results. Any idea what step I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated!
