iPhone3GS to iPhone4...SIM card ?

My friend has an iPhone3GS and I plan on giving him my iPhone4 after tomorrow's announcement. Since the 3GS uses a regular SIM and the iPhone4 has a micro SIM, will he just have to take it to an AT&T store and ask for a micro SIM? Would he get it for free? Thanks!

The internals are the same - you can just trim the plastic to make it fit (and use a real microSIM as a template). AT&T usually charges $25 IIRC.
