iphone4 bluetooth connection problem

My 3G had no problems connecting via bluetooth to my car speakerphone (Visor lite 160).

Bought iphone4, pairs, connects then disconnects after 5 seconds.

Exchanged it for another iphone4 - same problem.

In addition - attempted to pair with my iMac via bluetooth: pairs, connects then disconnects.

Any ideas?
