iPhone4 E-mail help please.

Hey Guys!

I have two email accounts on my iPhone, Gmail and MSN.

When i read/delete mail on my Gmail account it will show it read or deleted on my account on my Mac. But when I read/delete mail on the MSN account nothing happens to the account when i check it on my mac.

I want to make the MSN account act as the Gmail one does?

Any ideas how I can do this?

Settings/mail/accounts/advanced/
Delete from server= Never, seven days, when removed from inbox.

Just tried that and change it to 'when removed from inbox' but doesn't appear to have worked :/

Restart your iphone after the changes to see if it helps take on to the new settings.

Might have something to do with whether your MSN account on your iPhone is set up as IMAP or POP3

Which should it be? And how do I change it if it's wrong?

I don't know much about the mail protocols. But I think you want it to be IMAP if you want the changes to show between your iPhone and Mac. I would Google "add IMAP MSN mail to iphone" and see if anyone has posted instructions. Good luck.
