iphone4 / ios4 - MobileMe constanlty fetching?

It seems every time I open an app that uses MobileMe (contacts and calendar), I get the spinning wheel icon next to the 3G/E icon indicating it's fetching data.

I can't remember if my 3GS did this or if this is a new issue. Anyone else have this problem? I'm more worried about this effecting battery life.

Seems resetting the settings fixed the issue. Another problem with restoring from backup - strange...
