So right before the iOS 4.3.4 from Apple came out I jailbreaked my iPhone on iOS 4.3.3. I did it from jailbreakme.com and then I found out about needed to save your SHSH blobs. There was an app in cydia that I had downloaded and tried but said it no longer signed it. This happened like the day before the release of iOS 4.3.4 I get that it no longer can be signed unfortunately. So I was wondering what exactly SHSH blobs do and do I need to unjailbreak it and wait to jailbreak it when I get an SHSH blobs saved? How important are the blobs to have?
Also, I've bought a theme and an app ($3) not much from Cydia but if I were to unjailbreak it and jailbreak it again at a later date if the SHSH blobs are important would I be able to get those apps backs?
This isn't so important because it's just $3 at this point but it would still kinda suck to have to pay again.
Lastly I had downloaded (from Cydia) Springtomzie Lite, while playing around with the options available in Lite, I was adding 6 icons in the bottom menu, in this process it went blank and I couldn't see any of them. I got them back but my Safari button is missing. I can still get to safari (I now have it in my dock form SBsettings (it still shows as an app in the SBsettings app) and a google bookmark on my bottom bar which is working just as well...
But any idea how to get the safari button itself back?
Any help on even one of these would be GREATLY appreciated.
I'm pretty new to jailbreaking (less than a week) and still trying to learn on some things....
