iphone4 mic dead

Bought a 32gb about 2 weeks ago and yesterday the mic stopped working. I could hear the caller, but they could not hear me. Just got back from the apple store. They replaced right away. Store was very crowded, thank GOD I made an appointment. Genius took a small penlight and shined it in the earphone jack and the power/sync jack to look for water damage. Whole process took about 10 minutes. I will end adding apple care later, just for the peace of mind.

i think i have the same problem but I cant seem get sound from the earpiece speaker and my microphone sound is distorted to the receiver.
