iphone4 not uploading music

I recently upgraded from an iphone3S to an iphone4S. I have backed the iphone3GS on my computer and tried to upload to my new iphone 4S. Everything but the music transfered. I have tried backing it up several times and tried to upload, but nothing seems to work.

I am unable to make a file of the old music to sync to my new phone because I have lost some of the music.

Yeah, the backup doesn't pull in music from your phone. You'll need to use a third party software to pull it into your computer, then import it to iTunes.

What type of computer do you have, Mac or windows?
