Hi!

Initially I bought my iPhone in Spain without any contracts or carriers, just a singe phone. Was using it for some time in Spain with Spanish sim card and then I went back to the Netherlands and was using without any problems with my dutch sim card. After I made an update the sim card got locked, showing the message that "the sim card does not appear to be supported. Only compatible sim card from a supported carrier may be used to activate iPhone" . But i just bought a single phone without any carriers!!!!!
I have this problem for the second time, once they replaced with new iphone in Amsterdam store but when I went the second time it happened, they refused to help me(( They told me that the phone is locked to some company I never heard about : Telia Sonera EST (have no idea what is that) That's ridiculous!!! How come they changed it for the first time??
I found out on different forums that it is happening to other iPhone users too and most of the time the phone get replaced.
Did anyone face this problem? Is there a way to bring my phone back to life???

Thanks!
