does anyone else have this problem i cant get my iphone to show up on my mac i just installed snow leopard i activated my phone on my pc but when i plug it into my mac iphoto pops up but itunes wont read it at all is there a fix

i was installing snow leopard but my iphone 3g wont show either witch makes me believe its itunes not my phone

did you happen to update from tiger?
i had the same problem when i upgraded today, what you need to do is re-download the latest itunes from apples website manually, and reinstall it.
then your iphone should connect fine. i'm guessing it maybe has something to do with installing it on the previously incompatible osx

hope this helps

Are you using iTunes 9.2? Earlier versions will not recognize iPhone 4.

Ive had similar problem!
Although ive not updated anything. Been using iTunes 9.2 for a few days and activated my phone beforehand. Ive used iTunes since to add music and such to my new phone, but now... it freezes, and doesnt recognise my iphone!

Ive tried downloading and reinstalling it and nothing works!
