iPhone4S Address Book Syncing to OSX Lion Problem

I have experience this issues on the iPhone4S address book when syncing to OSX Lion.

Every time I sync my iPhone4S, the contact list on my iPhone4S are replaced with the OSX Lion contact list or address book. The iTubes Advance Option below says "Replace information on this phone" is unchecked.

Hope anyone can help me on this, month effort of encoding all contacts religiously to iPhone4S has gone.. T_T

Probably one of the alternative solutions on this is iCloud Syncing.
as reviewed, there are some glitches and errors syncing Mail application on this app., also on other threads says, you need to purchase iCloud application and registering to it, is not for free?

Please inlighten me up on this guys, need your suggestions before installing it on both MacAir and iPhone4S, this might cause more serious damage on my datas..
