iPhone4S with Steve Jobs momento

I really hope we can get some sort of special iPhone4s with something to help us remember Steve. Nothing crazy like upgrades or anything. Just have the back plate have "In memory of Steve Jobs" under the logo.

We can get those custom inscriptions on iPhones right? I know you can for iPods. If we can, let's all get them :)
 
It would be neat if some percentage of the revenue made from the I4S would go into a Foundation for fighting Cancer.

No, that would not be in good taste. SJ IS Apple, the whole world knows it. Don't need to capitalize off his death to try and sell a few extra phones.

I hope SJ is made the perminant chairman of Apple, that would be a good tribute.

As much as i may admire him, I don't think anyone (including me) would like to have his face engraved on the back of my phone... but that's my opinion. Apple has a strong FS - they could easily afford 50% of all iPhone 4S proceeds to be donated to a 100% cancer foundation (not the ones where they only put 70¢ for every dollar or such).

That goes against his whole design ethic of making beautiful products, basically a slap in the face. The best idea so far is the dates I think, it would fit the most with Apples (and Jobs') way of doing things. If they did it at all, which is highly unlikely, it would not be announced, just a subtle addition.

I agree. This is probably the best thing we can do at this point anyway. But let's not limit it to iPhone 4S sales, just a slight percentage of their total revenue (even a small percentage like 1% would be a huge contribution).

I think Steve would retch at the idea. The best way to remember him is to just keep making great products.

Edit: But perhaps a small inscription on the inside like the Zune HD might be nice.

Ask yourself, what would Steve Jobs do to properly keep his legacy going? It would be continue to redefine the mobile industry and create new innovations to the world.

I believe that Tim Cook has an enormous burden. He has to become "Steve Jobs".

The best way to honor Steve is to be as much innovative as you can in your life. The best way for Apple to honor Steve is to stay at what it is doing.

Rest in Peace Steve
 
I hope some sort of case is made, probably a fan case or some sort that says "Steve in our hearts" or something, price it at somewhere near 29-39 then donate 75% of amount they earn for each case after deducting cost to help the pancreatic research
