Iphone4s won't turn on..even after clicking both Home and Sleep buttons!!

What to do with iphone 4s, used for a year, never crashed and fully taken cared off, which just crashed and wont boot up?? I tried researching, holding down home and sleep buttons won't turn it on. Plugging it on a computer says, "device unrecognized". What else is there to do before asking Apple for a replacement?????????

Just call customer support, see what they say. Was it ever jailbroken or anything? Sounds weird that it just randomly crashed and turned off.

No jailbreak. I left an app open, fell asleep. Next thing i know it wont turn on. Now im trying to charge it but its not even getting warm
