this one review mentioned, that the reviewed devices already showed visible scratches in the black aluminum.

wabi sabi?
while one comment says "cool, wabi sabi on the iPhone!"
i myself feel unsure: the scratches do not look good on my nokia N8, and I dont want this on a all black phone.

solution: silver aluminum & black front panel replacement?
So I wondered if it might be a good idea to get the white one, with the pure aluminum frame (not that scratch prone), and put a black front panel on it: Should look really nice, IMHO.

How easy would that repair be? Will it be similarly exchangeable like in the 4S?

What do you guys think?

Edit: I just saw that this thing is already beeing discussed extensively under the name 'ScuffGate':

Still, I think a silver frame / black front combination would be cool...
