Hi,

In my car I used the dock connector to aux in with my old Iphone, i'm screwed now with the lightning connector. The speaker out to aux sounds like crap, what options do I have?

Isn't your aux in just a USB port? If so why doesn't the regular Lightning cable work?

Some cars have actual 30 pin adaptors. I'm guessing his does. Yep get an adaptor.

Best bet is probably to order one online. I have the adapter with cable and the adapter without cable. Had to wait for them, but they both work great.

So do what everyone else did....order it on Apples online store and wait for it to arrive. Easier than just sitting around being angry about it.

check your Aux cable quality... and your music quality.

If you are using a cheap cable.. and playing < 320kbps.. yeah it will sound bad

Or upgrade your stereo to use Bluetooth. That's what I do and Lightning didn't affect me in the least. I got a really nice Pioneer Bluetooth head unit in my old car for under $500.

I have no problem with Bluetooth quality. Sounds exactly the same as plugging it in.

And now with Bluetooth 4.0 we will be able to stream uncompressed audio, so its about to get even better!
