So the other day I was posting that there was a strange problem with my lens that made it appear as if there was a bird flying in the picture at the time and slowing down the focusing of the phone.

I actually notice this appears in pictures:

I can't see anything on the lens itself but these recently taken pictures bear out that there's something happening with the lens itself apparently:

I resized these down to 800x600 but full size shots show the same issue. Think I'll be showing these to Apple. They weren't obvious in indoor shots but outdoor kind of sticks out like a sore thumb.

It's a common problem with the iPhone's lens, you can get a replacement iPhone at any Apple Store once they've confirmed this hardware failure.
Btw, nice kitty you've got :D

He's so weird. He likes to sit in my wife's paper shredder basket and then meows loudly to have someone let him out. He can get in, but not out.

His brother is smarter than he is and doesn't bother going in there.

The other cat just looks on like "they're so DUMB!"

Appointment at 12:30 today at the Apple store. Thanks for the tip.

Update

Just for those who wanted to know they tried to blow the phone out using an air duster canister by removing the front of the phone.

But it made the problem worse, whatever piece of debris was inside the lens area ended up getting blown to the center of the lens and they couldn't make it any better.

So they swapped the phone then and there (yes, I have AppleCare).
