I just switched from a iphone 5 to a Motorola Droid Razr HD and quite impressed. What I like about the Motorola line is the same if not better build quality as a iphone. It's very, very solid I don't think the Kevlar is just a gimmick. I know everyone is talking about Samsung these days but with Google /Motorola I see big things in the future for Motorola Mobility, Stay tuned!

I would love to get a RAZR MAXX HD but they don't sell them in Ireland and I don't know if it would work here if I were to get it online. I keep saying I hope Motorola get a chance to make a Nexus phone. I've never owned one but I love their designs and their unbeatable battery life.

I would be all over a Motorola Nexus, between the battery life and signal strength it would be a winner.

I'm not sure if anything changed since I owned a droid but I will say I was very dissatisfied with the turn around time in getting updates from them. Too slow for my liking

I'm not sure how they measure up against samsung but HTC seemed to get the android updates out the door 3 to 6 months sooner then I saw moto

If I'm not mistaken, some (or all?) of Motorola's latest devices have gotten JB already.

That may have been true before Google obtained Motorola Mobility but with Google and Motorola in bed together I would think they would get updates as quick as the Nexus line.

Biggest problems I had with my Motos (Razr Maxx & M) were camera quality (average at best) and display (don't like grainy pentile). They just don't seem up to par with the other top smartphones. I otherwise loved the call quality, battery life (on the Maxx), and minimally skinned Android experience.

I just traded from Motorola Atrix2 to iPhone 5. Motorola does make a solid product. Just be careful when and how your phone gets the updates. Mine use to download them in the middle of the night and I would find out I went way over my data budget because of it(double). Make a point to have your wireless ON when in a wireless environment. I equally enjoy the 5 but had forgotten how having to deal with iTunes was a PIA since I left Apple after my iphone 3G.

I agree about the camera but if you put it on HDR setting its just fine

I've considered switching to moto razr m but have read the issues with camera and display. Too bad they look like nice devices. Probably upgrade to ip5 when I'm eligible in feb

I went from the iPhone 4 to a maxx hd. Night and day! I had the og droid and strayed to the apple world. I have over 4,000 songs on iTunes. No problem with google music, uploaded all of them to the cloud and synced them from google. Beautiful!! I've had the maxx hd for a week now and it impresses me daily. Never have I been more excited about a purchase. From the screen to the battery to the build quality. I love everything about this phone. If anyone has any questions don't be afraid to ask.

I'm about to pick up the maxx. The only thing that is bothering me is going from the iphone 5 camera to the razr hd maxx camera. Is it really that bad? I've seen a few people say the jelly bean update has improved the camera slightly.

I was thinking of getting a Nexus 4, but I decided not to due to its battery. I currently have a Galaxy S2 and was thinking of getting a Razr Maxx (not HD). If someone has experience with both phones, would you consider it to be a decent upgrade?

That phone looks great I would have gotten that over the gs3 if it where on at&t. I'm not a fan of the on screen keys though (it takes away a tiny bit of screen real-estate)
