Iphone5; unable to connect to iTunes Store, no iMess/FaceTime, no Push notifications

Jailbroken iPhone 5, 6.1.2, AT&T. Phone had been working fine until I went abroad to Canada. While in Canada I noticed I lost iMessage and Push notification capability. I attributed it to the recent, well documented iMessage outage. Now, back in the USA, I still have the same issues and I also cannot connect to the iTunes Store. I've tried EVERYTHING under the sun short of restoring. If I restore from backup, will I lose my jailbreak? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried logging out of iCloud and the iTunes store and then logging back in? Did your icloud contact switch? By that I mean did it switch to something other than your phone number?

Have you checked to see if your region settings (keyboard, language, etc) have changed?

Thanks but I ended up restoring from a recent backup and all is well now. I wonder if the trip to Canada screwed with my settings somehow?
