I ordered a 6+ from Apple on October 20th, and was fine with the quoted delivery time of November 14th to 21st. That is, until Monday the 3rd when I noticed that my local Apple store had some in stock.
So I canceled my order, then went online to purchase the phone and do store pickup. Everything was going fine until I clicked that I wanted AT&T Next. It then told me that store pickup wasn't available for Next.
What a dummy. I canceled my original order and am now stuck with nothing.
Feeling dumb, I decided to check AT&T directly, and lo and behold their site told me the 6+ was available and could ship within 3-5 days. OK, what the hell, so I ordered.
I got my phone yesterday (the 6th).
TL/DR: As of Monday my wait time for a 6+ was November 21st. Cancelled and reordered via AT&T. Received phone November 6th.
