Waked up this morning to pre-order iPhone 7 and looked carifully on my 2 years old iPhone 6 ... and it is still good phone, slick looking, good battery life, no cratches or cracks. Besides it is with headphones plug and I could charge and listen music same time, I don't have to look for bluetoth connection, it is still very good phone!
Another minor advantage - It was great time when I got it new from ATT with $200 down and nothing else to pay, 2 years contract is over and phone is unlocked and mine. Now I have to pay $32 every month for 7? No way my friends :)

Act fast 2 Year Contracts are there. !!!!

Did you not notice a higher bill? You think phone companies are giving you a $1000 phone for $200? You were paying the remainder for the length of the contract.

Same bill will be on iphone7 + $32 per month, I don't realy like to pay these new monthly charges. My contract is over at the beginning of October, I don't think it will be much lower after. Besides I was changing them easy and my bill remained same pretty much last all versions of iphones since 4.

There are no new monthly charges. With new plans bills went down and the cost of the phones monthly installments are visible instead of hidden.

No thats the same talking point cellphone store emplyoees give

paying $32 a month for just the phone on a 2 month installment plan is $768

dropping $199 of birthday money One Time on a 2 year contract once and done is and was way better and alot less expensive.

Who buys most cellphones 12 year olds its the #1 must have item in that teen age group leaving middle school onto high school. And most teens save up the money and Parents pony up the $50 or $60 monthly

Now in many cases the idea is Well its still $60 monthly but another $32 for the phone each month.

Ok give me example in numbers? I never paid more than $130 per two devices with unlimited call/text, 8g shared data with 10% corp discount. Will I pay the same after upgrade?

Nothing is explained, nobody at my work is rushing to upgrade anymore, done. Everyone will use their existing phone until they will re-negotiate this new charges. People would like to pay less or same, not more. That is the rule, people hate monthly charges as well.

Correct, and I believe that is why iphone sales is down. I really don't care that this phone cost $1000, it use to cost $200 for me for any models since 4. It is their problem on how they will price between Apple and ATT.
