I just upgraded to 1.1.1 and jailbroke my phone using the new method, and I'm sad to say that it looks like iFrotz is one of the apps which doesn't run under 1.1.1.

I'm looking into it and I'll try to get a fixed version out soon.

I e-mailed the gent directly and received the following response:

Unfortunately I've had a lot less free time to work on it than I'd like.

I've actually got iFrotz working in 1.1.1 again, the problem is doing
it in such a way that it still works in 1.0.2.

The other issue is I fixed it in an unreleased version I've been
working on that adds game-controlled colors, fonts, etc., and I've
not quite ironed out all the bugs with the new features to be able to
release it.

But it's good to know people are interested.. I hope to work out the
remaining bugs and release it in the next couple of days.

Hope remains.

i have it but i dont know wat to do i have the code z thing story in it but wat on earth is it?? is it like those chose your own adventure things??

I think its the name of the engine used to run infocom style text adventures

I think it has to be posted to one of the lists that Installer.app pings.

Either way, I've got it installed and it's pretty magical. I hope to spend more time with it tonight.

I'm actually going to start Zork today for (gasp) the first time.

Works fine on my 16gb 1.1.4 touch. I even managed to get some original Infocom games installed form my lost treasures cd.
The only problem is saving which fails every time. I am guessing that the game saves to some folder I need to CHMOD (it is not the same folder the games are in as I tried that one). Does anyone know where I need to look?
