Any of you guys that purchased this product are out of luck like me with this update?
I try to transfer the ringtones back but theres nothing there.
Sucks that it only lasted a few months.
Anyone knows if they'll come out with an update for this?

Since I expect they still hope to sell it, they would be working on making it compatible with the new iTunes and iPhone firmware, but the barriers are stiffer this time around so it will take longer.

Did it become alot harder now with this update?
This really sucks.

I would but I dont have a mac and I already purchased this product anyway.

Try iToner.
It works currently with the newest firmware.
They say it should work going forward as well.
No jailbreak or other magic needed. MAC only I think.

iToner does not work. According to there web site they are working on a fix. The same with iPhoneRingToneMaker... dig deep in there site and there is a one liner mentioning that they are working on a fix.

Hope they get it to work, im back to the original choices now :(

According to Hackintosh, even if they had all the quad core processors in the world working on hacking the iPhone, it would take several years. Apple has really made the iPhone and iPod Touch hard to hack.

Wow, that bad huh?
Theres gotta be a way though, nothing is unhackable or bulletproof.
No wonder that update was that big, they were encrypting the phone at the same time probably.....

He didn't say there wasn't a way, just that it would take a lot of time.

Yes allot of time. Too much time to make this worth even pursuing. Why? Well a new iPhone will be out by then and in that new iPhone will be even better encryption methods and the whole process will start again.

Well then I am stumped since I am currently using iToner with the latest firmware on my iphone and have no issues whatsoever. It works great.
Maybe it won't work for anyone who has hacked their phone already.
I never have hacked mine, and never will to prevent the issues posted here.

Did you upgrade to the latest iphone firmware bro?
Noone elses works and it works just with yours?

I hope the Iphoneringtonemaker team is working on a solution just like the Itoner people.
