boy, you think with this generation they'd finally move the iPhone to USB-C to integrate with their macbooks huh?

if they believed this was the future they should have moved the iphone to usb-c this year already.
 
the lightning connector is still a better design for phone, easier to clean cruft out, less parts inside connector to fail.

i know, what i meant was, they could have moved it to a lightning to usb-c wire to better integrate with their new usb-c MacBooks. :)
 
Oh, yeah, they really should, if for no other reason than usb c charging is a better standard..

just stop defending apple. every decision they make is purely based on profit. if introducing usb c makes more money then it is ‘a better design for phone’.
