Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

I saw something strange yesterday. The iPhone display at the Walmart in my city was sitting empty with only the charging cables left. Here's hoping the upgrade is coming soon!

What we know is that in October Sprint will launch the new iPhone. That, of course, doesn't imply other providers won't sell the new iPhone before that time.

as much as I'd like to agree with you, I can't. There are no news on about the iPhone 5, even if they were to release it next week, shops still wouldn't clear out their current stock so early & as always we'd have pre-orders from apple by now

If someone ripped off the phone from the Walmart display, the cops can find it easily by combing the nearest trailer park. :D
