is that site legit? I read an article that mentions that site which claims to unlock iphone 4s on 5.0.1?

Why did you bother to ask if you are not going to believe the first person that disagrees with you? How do you know???

Spend your $25 and get back to us. Then you won't be "confused" any more.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8G4 Safari/6533.18.5)

Just because they charge doesn't mean the jailbreak is legit. Look at previous JB releases: all FREE. So alarm bells should be going off in your head when you see they want money for it!

It actually may be legit..but

The site mentions nothing about an iPhone 4s jailbreak..only 4

Ok I get it. But any news when an unlocking is coming? Also do I need to unlock the phone to use it as an ipod touch. I dont have att sim.

You must have an AT&T sim to activate it before you can get it to the home screen so you can use it as an Ipod. There is no way around this.

You must have friends using AT&T who you can borrow it for a while so you can activate it. You can also buy it from Ebay.

You do not need to unlock it so you can use it as an ipod touch.

Guys, the topic creator is related to the website. Look at his account, he created the account yesterday and his first post is a thread on a scam site that is tricking people into paying $25

Exactly why its not trusted

Why not? that is exactly what we need... Commercial businesses that can actually buy the hardware needed and/or pay professional coders to make this happen.

Its not like only 2 or 3 people in the world can come up with a jailbreak, its like only 2 or 3 people in the world are willing to do it for free!

I think it's chronic_dev team. They come in here under new aliases just to mess with us.. and make us hungry for the real *free thing! Otherwise, a simple search through the countless other directly related threads in the top 20 of this section would have prevented this op from making a bad first impression in the first place.:p:cool:

So far, every website charging money for a JB has been a scam. Odds are overwhelming this one is too, in particular since noone has hear about it working.
