iPhoto 06 folders?

I heard somewhere that iPhoto 06 allows photos to be organised more easily. I wondered, as in the iPhoto 05 interface at the moment I have created folders with all my photos...If I was to upgrade to iPhoto 06 would it make the folders for me on my hard drive, like in my current interface (sorry if that doesn't make sense)?

In iPhoto 05 I find it pretty frustrating when I want to find a file, and I have to go through iPhoto library >> Year >> then all the random numbers ... As it makes it pretty much impossible to find what I am looking for.
