iPhoto '08 Help please!

Hi,

iPhoto 06 used to have an "originals" folder but now the new version just has a little iPhoto icon in my pictures folder.

I have a ton of folders in the pictures folder with all my pictures that are already imported into iPhoto. Can I just permanantly delete those? or does iPhoto need them to function? Thanks!

Everything iPhoto 08 needs is inside that iPhoto package in your Pictures folder, you can see it all by right clicking and selecting Show Package Contents.
