iPhoto 08 Library vs 09 Library

Hey guys,

I used to keep a backup my iPhoto 08 library. I recently upgraded to iPhoto 09.
Before, when I had iPhoto 08, if I had to do a restore, i just dragged & dropped the 08 library which replaced the existing library.

I was wondering if i do this with the iphoto 09 library, will I experience any issues with the library/application/performance/compatibility? or is there a better way to import all the pictures from 08 library to 09 library? please let me know.
